Too Many Voices!

Whose Voice Are You Listening To?

Good morning,
It is a cool cloudy day, a good day to reflect on the week, and what you heard from the voices coming at you from MSM, your friends and co-workers, your family and most importantly, God's Word.

There have been many voices speaking from the political world, and we may be angry, confused, even fearful by the news we are hearing....but God tells us to "FEAR NOT!  For I AM with you...".

It's good to be informed about what is going on in the world, our country, communities, and our families.  It gives us a framework for how and what to pray for.  In the midst of all these voices, claiming truth....we must be discerning and listening to the voice of TRUTH.  We need to filter all we hear through the lens of Christ and what HIS WORD says is truth.

David tells us in Psalm 46:10  "Be still and know that I am God.  I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!"
As you still yourself and listen for HIS voice, remember Elijah as he sought God while hiding in the cave...He didn't hear him in the srtong wind, the earthquake, or the fire, but in the still small voice, a gentle whisper. (Read 1 Kings 19:11-13)

Can you hear His voice calling your name?  He is saying, "Follow ME", "Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  May HIS voice be the one you follow, and He alone will give you, HIS PEACE!
